Join MAVP Veterinary Scientific Conference for latest advancements in veterinary pathology.

15th MAVP Scientific Conference Chairman’s Welcoming Speech

“On behalf of MAVP committees, I would like to extend an invitation and a warm welcome to the 15th MAVP Scientific Conference 2024, which will be held at the Mudzaffar Hotel in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, on 26th to 28th of July, 2024. It brings us great pleasure to announce that MAVP collaborated with the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) Melaka to organize this yearly event this year.

Since the MAVP was founded to improve technical knowledge and competence regarding animal diseases that are closely linked to the advancement of the animal industry, this year's theme, "Bridging Veterinary Pathology and Epidemiology in the Animal Industry," is appropriate given the current state of affairs. Thus, we bring together officials from the government, academia, and industry representatives to share ideas on the most current advancements in the field of disease control and updates.

It is now customary for veterinarians, researchers, and para-vets from different sectors to congregate at MAVP conference, with juniors and seniors sharing the updates not only focusing on pathology but also various related topics to animal disease. The field of pathology covers a wide range of topics, not just the identification of lesions and histopathology but also the comprehension of all elements involved in disease diagnosis, such as the management system and interactions between the environment and the aetiology of disease.

Therefore, let us take this opportunity to attend this comprehensive pathological scientific conference, which should be worth it and full of information and updates. See you all at the 15th MAVP Melaka.”
